Artful Bra 2012.
A benefit for the American Cancer Society, Artful Bra IV was a great success. We had about 60 entries from all over the region. We’ll let you know when Artful Bra V will happen. For now, start thinking about what you’ll make!
Here are the general details:
- Anyone can submit a bra. There are no size restrictions.
- The entry fee is $10.
- The Artful Bra V Show will probably be May 2013. Keep checking back here for the latest news.

Art Fest 2012.
Calling Artists and Art Suppliers! Show, demonstrate, and sell your art in the historic High Hand Fruit Shed. High Hand Gallery invites artists from our community to display, sell and demonstrate some form of you unique artistic style at the 3d Annual Art Fest. The dates are June 23 and 24 10am–4pm. Applications are due May 15. Notifications of acceptance will be made by May 20. The entry fee for selected artists is $15, to be paid at set up (so there is no fee for applying—only if you are accepted).
Important Information:
- Exhibiting artists are asked to demonstrate some aspect of creating their art.
- Artists are responsible for all set up, display, and lighting equipment.
- Set up is June 23 8:00 am; take down is Sunday after closing.

I make jewelry, is it required I demonstrate how I create it, as it is fairly simple and does not take much time??
Yes! We really want artists at ArtFest to demonstrate how they make their artwork. So bring your materials, your pliers–but nothing with a flame, please–and show off your technique!
The form on the call to artist page is not allowing me to fill it out.
How can I fill out the form to email it to you? It is not allowing me to type in the form.
How great you want to enter! Unfortunately, we’re not savvy enough to have the entries work as on-line entries. Please print the form out, fill it out (by hand). You can then scan it in and either mail it to the gallery (3750 Taylor Road, Loomis, 95650) or, better, scan it as a PDF and attach it to an email to highhandgallery@hotmail.com.
I just saw your advertisement for the show on June 23 and 24 tonight, and the deadline is tomorrow! I will bring in my application and photos to the gallery tomorrow, the 15th and find someone to give them to……
I’d also like to know how to apply to become a gallery member.
